Director, Project Engineering

Join us in this role where you’ll head the Onshore Project Engineering team within EPC. You’ll set engineering standards, manage resources, and influence strategic decisions that shape the success of our renewable energy portfolio. 

 

Welcome to EPC – Onshore Project Engineering 

You’ll be part of a collaborative team that works closely with Development, Interconnection, Energy Assessment, Procurement, and QHSE. As a team we ensure safe, efficient, and innovative solutions across the full project lifecycle. 

 

You’ll play an important role in: 

  • leading and developing the Project Engineering team across all project phases 

  • defining and implementing engineering strategies, processes, and standards 

  • managing design activities with third-party consultants and contractors 

  • advising on technology selection, project development, and contract negotiations 

  • mentoring engineers and managers to build technical expertise and best practices 

  • ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and safety requirements 

  • collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver projects on time and within budget 

 

To succeed in this role, you: 

  • have 8+ years of renewable energy experience (wind, solar, or storage) or similar industry background and experience 

  • bring 4+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams or similar background and experience 

  • hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a related discipline 

  • demonstrate success in managing complex projects and mitigating technical risks 

  • communicate effectively and can translate technical concepts for diverse stakeholders 

  • are proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about innovation and sustainability

Director, Project Engineering: (200,000-230,000) Discretionary Bonus: 12.5 target of base compensation; may be changed or suspended based on the discretion of the company
