Senior Director, Asset Performance

Join us in this role where you’ll not only be accountable for setting the Asset Performance strategy in the Americas region but also be responsible for leading the teams focused on utilizing vast amounts of data aimed at optimizing the portfolio. You’ll develop and deliver on strategy, ensure timely and accurate delivery of portfolio performance, ensure a focus on improvement of bottom-line performance, engage across functions as a member of the regional extended leadership team, and develop the team’s capabilities, maximizing their value delivery.

You’ll be part of the Asset Management organization where you, together with your colleagues, will utilize data and related systems to deliver insights enabling quality decision making and more optimal outcomes for our portfolio of operating assets.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • developing the overall strategy and executing a detailed Asset Performance program for the Americas region
  • reporting on overall asset performance for all Americas operating assets including identifying key risks and opportunities related to performance across the portfolio with a focus on value retention and maximization.
  • team leadership, development, and growth to support overall asset performance strategy
  • selection, implementation, use, ongoing support, and periodic review of any software platforms related to the Asset Performance function
  • providing input on commercial agreements and sign off of areas related to Asset Performance scope
  • interfacing with senior business leaders and IT in support of Americas digital strategy

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have 10+ years engineering and/or asset performance experience in renewable energy or a related field
  • hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or related technical field
  • have significant experience leading people along with strong communication and presentation skills
  • have experience working on cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
  • have advanced computing aptitude including data handling, programming, and analysis
  • have prior experience with commercially available data platforms tailored to energy assets
