Vice President, QHSE Onshore Americas

Join us in this role where you’ll provide strategic leadership and technical expertise to ensure the highest QHSE standards across development, construction, and operations. You’ll shape and implement innovative safety programs, drive compliance, and foster a boots-on-the-ground safety culture through strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building.

You’ll be part of Onshore Leadership Team where you, together with your colleagues, will will define and deliver QHSE excellence across all US onshore projects. You’ll report directly to the President of Onshore Americas and collaborate across functions and geographies to ensure alignment and impact.  As a team, we we care deeply about safety, succeeding as one, and driving results through collaboration, integrity, and passion.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • shaping and driving QHSE strategy across all onshore renewable projects, while actively contributing to decision-making within the Onshore Americas Leadership Team and Investment Committee
  • overseeing the development and implementation of safety policies, procedures, and performance metrics
  • leading risk management strategies and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • developing targeted safety training and awareness campaigns
  • fostering a culture of continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement
  • managing departmental budgets and resource planning.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a minimum of 15 years of US based, renewable energy QHSE experience
  • demonstrate collaborative and authentic leadership that inspires and empowers teams
  • have a proven track record of building strong cross-functional relationships with diverse stakeholders, including executive teams and external partners. bring a commercial mindset and strong prioritization and organizational skills
  • have a proven track record of driving strategic QHSE initiatives, leading to measurable improvements in safety performance, engagement, and compliance
  • hold a bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, QHSE, or equivalent experience.

This role will require 50% travel which includes trips to our Americas Onshore sites and offices.

Position Salary range:  230,000-289,000

Discretionary Bonus:  20% target of base compensation; may be changed or suspended based on the discretion of the company
