Document Controller

Join us in this role where you’ll lead the implementation and management of document control systems across our UK West Nearshore Operations. You’ll ensure compliance with Ørsted’s global Integrated Management System (IMS), support audit readiness, and drive continuous improvement in documentation workflows.

You’ll be part of the UK West Nearshore Operations team where you, together with your colleagues, will manage and optimise document and information systems to support operational excellence. As a team, we collaborate across functions, share knowledge openly, and take pride in delivering high-quality outcomes.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • leading the implementation and local governance of document control platforms such as IMS, DORECO, Motion, and SAP
  • managing the full document lifecycle, including drafting, review, approval, publication, and archiving
  • coordinating statutory documentation to ensure audit readiness and legal compliance
  • acting as superuser and trainer for document systems, including onboarding new staff
  • supporting internal and external audits by ensuring documentation is accurate and accessible
  • identifying and driving improvements in documentation processes and quality initiatives.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a relevant qualification in information or document management, or equivalent experience
  • are confident working in a technical, regulated environment
  • are proficient in MS Office and document control platforms
  • are a certified internal auditor from a recognised provider, or have equivalent experience
  • communicate clearly and effectively, with strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • are fluent in English and open to occasional travel to other Ørsted sites.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
