Offshore Manager

Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for leading and managing the successful offshore execution of Predetermined Maintenance activities across UK West assets. In this role you’ll predominantly be based offshore, providing hands-on leadership, ensuring safety and operational performance of your team.

You’ll be part of Offshore Operations where you, together with your colleagues, will ensure the efficient and safe conduct of all offshore maintenance activities. The team’s primary tasks include coordinating offshore personnel and equipment, managing vessel operations, and ensuring effective communication between onshore and offshore teams. As a team, we value collaboration, safety, and operational excellence.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • leading the offshore execution of Predetermined Maintenance tasks, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently
  • acting as the point of contact on vessels, coordinating all offshore activities related to maintenance tasks
  • leading regular offshore performance dialogues, using data to address performance gaps, solve problems, and implement improvements in operational delivery
  • collaborating with the Continuous Improvement (CI) team to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to optimise offshore operations and improve productivity
  • ensuring smooth transfer of control between onshore and offshore teams with full accountability for real-time decision-making.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have proven experience in offshore operations management
  • possess strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • are well-versed in HSE regulations and best practices
  • are able to coordinate and manage complex operations efficiently
  • demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
