Quality & Reporting Lead

Join us in this role where you’ll improve reliability of our UK West assets by introducing & embedding Quality & Risk measurement & reporting into the DNA of reliability & maintenance processes. You will develop and implement robust measurement & reporting models tied concretely to commercial decision making.

You’ll be part of Reliability & Maintenance team where you, together with your colleagues, will deliver on our Engineering strategy to ensure that performance & maintenance is data-driven and proactive. The Reliability & Maintenance team primarily focuses on ensuring methodical, data driven and proactive Reliability, Availability & Maintenance (in particular through Reliability Centered Maintenance practices) of our assets. The team consists of engineering Subject Matter Experts and Technical Optimization experts. Our aim is to strengthen the technical Quality & Risk management capability within our team to introduce and empower risk=based decision making. As a team, we pride ourselves in having a fun, collaborative, and inclusive culture. We collaborate with subject matter experts across the company and work closely together to ensure quality delivery.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • developing & maintaining simulation models for the effects of different maintenance strategies on performance, cost, safety etc
  • developing & maintaining reporting models for asset performance changes based on Reliability & Maintenance initiatives
  • developing cost -benefit, value measurement, ROI models for different reliability & maintenance initiatives
  • developing & owning core databases and logics needed for Reliability & Maintenance reporting & decision making (in collaboration with central teams).
  • co-developing (with team) & implementing quality management framework (incl. process & tools) to build and improve our reliability centred maintenance capability
  • developing & maintaining core reliability & maintenance performance cascade.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a statistical and logic-focused mindset with experience within performance measurements or analysis and reporting
  • have an MSc or BSc degree in engineering, data science, physics, mathematics, or another relevant discipline involving data analytics
  • have high proficiency in critical analysis and problem resolution, are equipped to handle voluminous data, develop simulation models based on technical and commercial input, conduct statistical enquiries, and establish well-founded and reproducible answers to convoluted questions
  • are confident and experienced working with PowerBI, advanced MS Excel, tableau, SQL and/or Python
  • must have experience with combining technical and commercial data and developing reporting logics
  • must have experience in both data science, data engineering, database modeling and reporting through PowerBI.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with asset reliability experience (RCM, CMRP, RME et al.)
