Quality & Risk Manager- Reliability & Maintenance
Join us in this role where you’ll improve reliability of our UK West assets by introducing & embedding Reliability Centered Maintenance capabilities into the DNA of our operational engineering processes; develop and implement a robust technical risk management framework tied concretely to commercial decision making; develop & implement technical performance cascade, technical escalation model and end to end design to operate process for technical performance and quality management.

You’ll be part of Reliability & Maintenance team where you, together with your colleagues, will deliver on our Engineering strategy to ensure that performance & maintenance is data-driven and proactive. The Reliability & Maintenance team primarily focuses on ensuring methodical, data driven and proactive Reliability, Availability & Maintenance (in particular through Reliability Centered Maintenance practices) of our assets. The team consists of engineering Subject Matter Experts (Reliability Engineers), Technical Optimization experts. Our aim is to strengthen the technical Quality & Risk management capability within our team to introduce and empower risk-based decision making. We collaborate with subject matter experts across the company and work closely together to ensure quality delivery.
You’ll play an important role in:
- developing and owning the Reliability Centered Maintenance roadmap. Be responsible for creation and maintenance of RCM toolbox (process, models, frameworks, artefacts, tools etc.) with the primary aim to embed RCM in the organisation’s technical and commercial decision making
- analysing and reporting on performance (converting technical to commercial) to communicate potential risks to reliability & maintenance of assets
- responsible for owning site specific technical documentation and support in creating other operations and maintenance related documents (in collaboration with the rest of the team)
- developing business case for engineering & maintenance proposals and improvements in collaboration with the rest of the team
- leading and delivering asset integrity and risk reporting to both internal and/or external stakeholders and advise in decision making on the strategic asset integrity decisions. Be proficient in supporting end to end engineering decisions required to maximise production availability of assets whilst maintain safety, integrity, and quality
- maintain an effective understanding of asset health and plant status to document and reinforce decision making and ensure value creation throughout asset lifecycle.
To succeed in the role, you:
- engineering qualification at degree level (Mechanical or Electrical)
- experience (5+ years or equivalent) within the offshore wind sector or related industries
- high preference for technical understanding of wind turbine systems, electrical and mechanical components, and offshore operations
- proven experience in reliability engineering techniques & certifications such as CMRP, RME, RCM, RCM-R, RCM 3 &/, RAM, RbM, RBI, HAZOP, FMECA
- proficient in ISO31000 risk management, SAE JA1012
- excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a clear understanding of tying technical to commercial performance.
