Quality Assurance Lead

Join us in this role where you’ll take the lead in maintaining and enforcing compliance with established safety, quality and operational standards across the UK West Hub.

Welcome to UK West Hub / Region Europe Generation
You’ll be part of Quality Assurance team where you, together with your colleagues, will ensure that all offshore operations within UK West comply with established safety, quality, and operational standards. This role is responsible for conducting quality audits, enforcing adherence to Orsted standards such as Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR), and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Acting as a key enforcer of standards, the Quality Assurance Lead upholds the integrity of offshore operations by providing professional oversight and expert guidance to offshore teams, promoting a culture of compliance and operational excellence. As a team, we value collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • ensuring adherence to WTSR, safety regulations, and internal quality standards across all offshore activities
  • conducting regular quality audits, inspections, and compliance assessments of offshore procedures, identifying non-compliance and implementing corrective measures
  • serving as a subject matter expert on quality assurance, advising offshore teams on best practices, regulatory requirements, and company policies
  • collaborating closely with the Authorising Engineers and Officers to support WTSR compliance, ensuring that all authorisations are managed, recorded, and adhered to accurately
  • supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational standards and safety.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have extensive experience in quality assurance within offshore operations or similar industry with transferable skills
  • possess in-depth knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards, particularly WTSR or ISO9001
  • demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to advise and influence teams
  • exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • are highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities
  • show a commitment to fostering a culture of compliance and operational excellence, with a continuous improvement mindset.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
