Supply Chain Coordinator

Join us in this role where you’ll align supply chain activities with business objectives, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and promote a safe and healthy work environment. You will also act as a substitute for the Supply Chain Lead when needed, overseeing line management duties and building a strong, diverse team.

Welcome to Generation UK West
You’ll be part of the Supply Chain team where you, together with your colleagues, will effectively plan, source, deliver, refurbish, and recycle all spare parts for wind turbines, HV, and OFTO equipment to meet regional demand. As a team, we cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers and ensure compliance with all quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • aligning supply chain activities with business objectives and the company’s long-term vision for sustainability, profitability, and growth
  • collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure that the team’s operational goals are aligned with the broader organization
  • cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders and key suppliers to support the achievement of operational goals
  • promoting a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, enforcing standards and procedures, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legal regulations
  • serving as a role model for safety practices
  • acting as a substitute for the Supply Chain Lead when needed, overseeing line management duties, including development and succession planning of direct reports.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have an educational background within engineering, business administration, economics or another relevant area as well as experience in supply chain management
  • possess working knowledge of supply chain theory and practical applications
  • have experience with cross-company SAP ERP (IM/EWM) and Microsoft Office
  • demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to navigate in intricate organisational structures and to identify and involve the necessary business stakeholders that will ensure the delivery of the supply chain strategy
  • adopt a systematic and structured approach to your work, open-minded and results-oriented
  • have experience with data analytics, performance management, and reporting tools.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
