Welcome to Operations
You’ll be part of the Step Change programme within Operations, where you, together with your colleagues, will deliver cross‑functional products and projects that improve operational business cases and safety across Ops Americas. You’ll work closely with programme leadership, operational teams, and specialist functions to translate ideas into implemented, value‑creating solutions.
As a team, we collaborate across disciplines, challenge established ways of working, and support each other in driving meaningful and lasting change.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • leading end‑to‑end delivery of complex, cross‑departmental projects and products within the Step Change programme.

  • developing and executing project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

  • coordinating and influencing cross‑functional teams, including operations, procurement, HSE, regulatory, finance, and suppliers.

  • preparing decision materials and recommendations for senior leadership, including business case impact, investment plans, risks, and mitigations.

  • tracking delivery performance, maintaining clear project documentation, and reporting progress in agreed formats.

  • identifying opportunities to strengthen business cases and building a forward‑looking pipeline of improvement initiatives.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • bring strong experience leading complex programmes or projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.

  • have proven change management capabilities and can shift mindsets from routine operations to new ways of working.

  • are able to translate technical and operational topics into clear, structured messages for different audiences.

  • demonstrate solid commercial understanding, including business cases, financial impacts, and supplier considerations.

  • are comfortable preparing and presenting decision material to senior leadership.

  • work in a structured, collaborative way and take ownership of delivery from idea through implementation.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
