Regional Category Manager, Above Water Turbine Services

Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for ensuring a feedback loop between the region and the global category team, providing regional and local procurement input, and implementing the regional category strategy. You’ll also manage supplier performance reviews and ensure data transparency for Ørsted Americas Above Water Turbine and Transmission Asset Services.

You’ll be part of Global Procurement Team where you, together with your colleagues, will provide input to the regional category strategy, ensure alignment with the global strategy, and support regional sourcing activities.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • operating model--global and regional collaboration
  • category strategy and category excellence
  • pipeline and resources
  • supplier Relationship management (SRM) and data transparency
  • data transparency
  • supply chain excellence

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a relevant degree and experience in supply chain management, business, or engineering related field, or equivalent experience
  • ability to analyse large amounts of complex information and produce coherent summaries, analysis, options, recommendations, and conclusions
  • have strong stakeholder management skills
  • possess the ability for strategic thinking and planning
  • are proactive in providing guidance to regional and local sourcing managers
  • keep up with regional market trends, benchmarks, and regulatory changes
