Sourcing Manager

Join us in this role where you’ll be supporting the project managers and lead procurement managers for US projects with daily procurement activities, working closely with your stakeholders. You’ll manage the proper handling of the sourcing process, holding responsibility for preparing and conducting supplier negotiations.

You’ll be part of US Sourcing where you, together with your colleagues, will You’ll join a growing and diverse team which prides itself on inclusivity. Together with the project teams, you’ll oversee the end-to-end sourcing process, as well as track and negotiate changes to contracts with key suppliers across the globe.

As a team, we work collaboratively to provide expert support in work essential to the development and construction of our US based projects. We support each other and work together to support the business.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • sourcing services to support offshore project development and construction.
  • leading and delivering strategic sourcing processes from start to finish, e.g., market analysis, tender process, negotiations, implementation, and contract management.
  • ensuring contractual alignment between business and project objectives.
  • building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to support the realization and optimization of commercial value
  • effectively working with the offshore wind projects to align contract documentation as it relates to scope changes
  • proactively handling commercial issues arising from contracts, incl. issues related to supplier performance and contract interpretation.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or contract management
  • have experience in the marine, construction, energy, or environmental industry and with tendering, negotiating, and/or managing contracts is preferred.
  • demonstrate a well-developed ‘toolbox’ to effectively manage sourcing and tender processes, negotiations, stakeholder management, analysing market trends, and tracking supplier performance
  • have proven negotiation skills, enabling you to communicate professionally with key business partners while maintaining contractual and business objectives
  • have a proactive and systematic approach to your work tasks, with an ability to balance competing priorities in a large matrixed organization.
