Senior Technical Planner

Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for the operation and maintenance of wind farm electrical assets, incl. the HV and LV power system. As asset operator, you’ll perform and coordinate the electrical activities, execute the day-to-day operations, and maintain our Greater Changhua Offshore Wind Farm transmission assets. You’ll undergo a series of job training programs to ensure that you develop the right competencies to safely operate and maintain electrical assets in operations. You’ll gain a strong electrical safety mindset and familiarity with various transmission assets.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • leading the time and human resources planning on our projects as well as controlling and maintaining time schedules and performing schedule analyses
  • collaborating with other operation functions to provide an integrated progress overview allowing for effective monitoring, forecasting, and execution of maintenance
  • delegating planning tasks and work scope, while driving and supporting close collaboration in the planning team to ensure high-quality integrated schedules
  • carrying out progress updates in terms of activities and resources and communicating and reporting progress, performance, and forecasts on a regular basis
  • supporting management decision-making on the maintenance, using your professional and personal skills and insights ensuring compliance with our guidelines and processes
  • managing a variety of technical clarification and planning ranging from asset regular maintenance, special case outside of service contract, warranty and so on.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have experience with delegating and leading others and possess interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with your stakeholders
  • have a proactive, structured, and analytical approach to your work and a good eye for detail and data quality
  • possess excellent spoken and written communication skills, enabling you to present and communicate complex matters in a professional and straightforward manner
  • have a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, or an equivalent qualification
  • have a strong technical planning background and a good commercial understanding of risk management, contract negotiation, and budget management
  • have solid experience with the operational aspects of offshore windfarms from a technical perspective.
