Duties:

  • Ensure all key obligations of contractual agreements are met and all processes are implemented by the Onshore Procurement and Construction team while managing external stakeholders.
  • Provide day-to-day contract management for owner-supplied equipment to advance onshore execution projects and to meet project milestones and investment decisions.
  • Manage, coordinate, and administer owner-supplied equipment at project site locations and ensure resolution of field issues on-time to support project schedule.
  • Manage owner-supplied equipment contracts as assigned from execution through contract completion and ultimate handoff to Asset Management.
  • Maintain contract compliance tracker for warranty claims, delivery of owner-supplied equipment, liquidated damages, and invoices by outlining owner and contractor obligations and timeline.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with contractual obligations under executed contracts and provide lessons learned to procurement team for future contractual strategies.
  • Ensure all contractual obligations are met before milestone payments are processed to the contractors.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge on contractual terms to support category management with contractual expertise and provide effective communication to project teams on contract changes, milestones achieved, and performance.
  • Requires up to 20% domestic and 5% foreign travel.
  • May telecommute but must reside near office in Chicago, IL, or New York, NY.

 

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in law, management, commerce, civil engineering, or related field; plus 1 year of experience in job offered or similar occupation.
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of experience also acceptable.
  • Knowledge of SAP; Primavera Unifier; PowerBI; and Bluebeam or Adobe Advance.
  • Experience with renewable energy or largescale construction projects for civil infrastructure.
  • Experience with contract management, commercial project management, project coordination, or supply chain management.
