GIS Analyst (fixed term)

Join us in this role where you’ll support project development by analysing spatial data, managing GIS databases, and creating high-quality maps and dashboards that inform strategic decisions across the lifecycle of European Onshore projects.

Welcome to Project Development
You’ll be part of the European Onshore Project Development team where you, together with your colleagues, will identify optimal sites, support permitting processes, and collaborate across markets to deliver impactful renewable energy projects.

As a team, we value collaboration, innovation, and precision, ensuring our work drives sustainable growth.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • analysing spatial datasets to identify suitable sites for wind, solar, and storage projects.
  • evaluating land constraints, including topography, grid proximity, and environmental restrictions
  • maintaining and managing GIS databases to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • producing professional maps, figures, and interactive web maps for stakeholders
  • building dashboards and web applications to support project planning and reporting
  • collaborating with cross-functional teams on environmental studies and permitting documentation.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a degree in geography, GIS, environmental science, renewable energy, engineering, or equivalent experience
  • are proficient in GIS software such as ArcGIS Pro and/or QGIS, and familiar with AutoCAD
  • understand spatial analysis techniques and cartographic principles
  • can manage large datasets and remote sensing imagery effectively
  • communicate complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • bring a proactive, detail-oriented approach and thrive in a collaborative environment
  • have a full, clean driving licence.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
