Operations Engineer

Join us in this role where you’ll apply engineering insight and data analysis to optimise the operation of our onshore wind portfolio in Ireland and the UK. You’ll work with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure our assets deliver safe, efficient, and reliable performance—while contributing to innovation and continuous improvement.

Welcome to Onshore Operations
You’ll be part of the Technical Operations team where you, together with your colleagues, will manage and optimise a growing portfolio of renewable assets. The team brings deep local expertise and collaborates closely with technical, commercial, and digital teams to drive smarter asset performance. As a team, we value collaboration, curiosity, and continuous learning.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • managing a subset of our renewable asset portfolio, using engineering insight and operational data to maximise performance
  • analysing SCADA and BI dashboard data to identify trends, quantify commercial impact, and recommend improvements
  • collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and contractual compliance
  • supporting predictive maintenance and process automation using AI and other digital tools
  • maintaining high standards in reporting, data integrity, and continuous improvement
  • contributing to the development of new capabilities as our portfolio expands to manage solar and battery energy storage across Ireland and the UK.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a completed degree within engineering, or equivalent experience
  • are proficient in data analysis and visualisation tools such as Excel, SCADA, or BI dashboards
  • bring experience in renewable energy operations, asset management, or similar analytical roles
  • are structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively
  • have a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong sense of ownership
  • hold a full, valid driving licence.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
