Operations Engineer
Join us in this role where you’ll take ownership of a subset of our portfolio windfarms, working closely with all stakeholders to optimise performance and provide comprehensive Asset Management services. You will maximize asset generation by collaborating with our in-house trading team to align operational and commercial strategies, ensuring contractual compliance through proactive engagement with external stakeholders.

You’ll be part of the Technical Operations team where you, together with your colleagues, will manage and support the technical infrastructure that underpins our operations. Our team is dedicated to maintaining high standards of operational excellence and continuous improvement.

You’ll play an important role in:
- taking ownership of a subset of portfolio windfarms and working closely with all stakeholders to optimise performance and provide full Asset Management services
- maximizing asset generation by collaborating closely with our in-house trading team to align operational and commercial strategies
- ensuring contractual compliance through proactive, day-to-day engagement with external stakeholders
- managing key accounts for third-party service contracts delivered by Ørsted, ensuring performance and value delivery
- coordinating with TSOs and DSOs across multiple jurisdictions, with a focus on minimizing operational disruption from grid-related works and safeguarding our commercial and operational interests
- maintaining high reporting standards by conducting second-person reviews and ensuring data integrity and accuracy
- leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our processes and standards, analysing data to identify performance improvement opportunities and engaging proactively with internal and external stakeholders to drive performance improvements.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have a relevant third-level qualification in engineering, data science, or a technical discipline, or equivalent experience
- ideally have post-qualification experience in the renewable energy sector, in an operational or data analysis role
- are familiar with SCADA systems and have experience using data analysis or visualisation tools such as Python, Tableau, or similar platforms
- ideally have experience diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues with plant or turbine equipment
- possess strong organisational and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail and a high level of integrity and professionalism
- are capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team, with a flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving
- a full, valid driving licence is required.
