Site Manager

Join us in this role where you’ll be part of the Project Delivery with responsibility for site management of utility scale solar farm and other renewable energy projects.

Welcome to Project Delivery
You’ll be part of Project Delivery where you, together with your colleagues, will share knowledge and experiences to develop both personally and professionally in a positive work culture and to bring projects from development through the construction phase and handover to Operations. You will be our point of contact on site, with overall responsibility for the supervision and monitoring of site activities and contractor progress, ensuring effective management of project programme, risks and costs.

You’ll play an important role in:

·       managing contractors on site to oversee daily activities on solar farm, wind farm or BESS projects sites and associated grid connection works, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, quality and project specifications

·       implementing, maintaining and enforcing excellent on site QSHE practises

·       maintaining accurate and up-to-date site records and documentation

·       collaborating closely with the Project Manager on all site related construction activities

·       liaising with the Project Manager and Contracts Manager during the delivery phase to ensure contractual obligations are met, reviewing payment claims, and determining variation claims, and provide on-site records to substantiate any processed payments.

To succeed in the role, you:

·       have a strong cultural belief in safety coupled with extensive construction site management experience, ideally with prior experience in utility-scale projects

·       have strong interpersonal skills as well as good negotiation skills

·       demonstrate an ability to lead a project team on site to a high level of performance

·       have an understanding of the PSDP/PSCS and/or CDMC processes

·       have the ability to work with multidisciplinary project stakeholders including the local community and landowners, local council representatives and technical and legal teams involved in the project delivery

·       are driven to meet deliverables on target, with attention to detail and understand the technical and regulatory requirements to deliver renewable energy projects.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
