Senior Regional Category Manager, Vessels

Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for Contract Management and chartering procurement activities for vessel charters during the operations and maintenance phase of all Americas offshore wind farms. You will align procurement operations with global counterparts, conduct formal procurement events, negotiate and execute contracts, and provide procurement support and guidance to operations stakeholders.

 

Welcome to Americas Operations Procurement You’ll be part of the Americas Operations Procurement team where you, together with your colleagues, will provide input to regional category strategy, ensure alignment with global strategies, and manage supplier relationships. As a team, we value collaboration, strategic thinking, and excellence in procurement.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • driving procurement activities for vessel charters (CTVs, SOVs, Jack Up vessels, barges, etc.) during the operations and maintenance phase of all Americas offshore wind farms.
  • managing existing charter contracts for vessels involved in wind farm operations and maintenance
  • aligning procurement operations with global counterparts and providing input to regional category strategy.
  • conducting formal procurement events (tenders, direct awards, call offs, etc.) and negotiating and executing contracts.
  • providing procurement support and guidance to operations stakeholders.
  • driving and managing regional and local supplier performance reviews in accordance with global SRM framework.
  • ensuring data transparency and managing regional supply chain intelligence.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a relevant degree and experience in supply chain management, business, engineering, maritime management, operations, or equivalent experience.
  • possess 5+ years of procurement, supply chain or vessel management experience in a related industry.
  • have experience in vessel chartering and contract management.  Experience with BIMCO contracts is a plus.
  • can analyze large amounts of complex information and produce coherent summaries, analysis, options, recommendations, and conclusions.
  • have strong stakeholder management skills.
  • demonstrate strategic thinking and planning abilities.
