- supporting wind farm transaction execution activities, including due diligence, drafting, and closing
- coordinating legal inputs for landowner interactions during greenfield development and M&A reviews across England, Scotland, and Wales
- assisting in drafting and negotiating power purchase agreements with energy suppliers and corporate customers
- advising on a range of other legal and regulatory matters, including service contracts and compliance issues.
To succeed in the role, you:
- are a qualified solicitor in Scotland, England, or Ireland, with strong post qualification experience, preferably in an in-house Energy corporation or a large law firm environment
- have strong experience in renewable energy and construction contracts, including EPC and turbine supply agreements
- bring knowledge of property law and experience in M&A transactions.
- demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to lead and influence stakeholders
- thrive in a collaborative environment and can manage complex projects across multiple jurisdictions.
Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
