Associate Lead Tax Specialist

Imagine a future where you engage in highly complex transfer pricing tasks in a fun and inspiring working environment with constant personal development along the way.

Join us in this role where you’ll deliver high-quality transfer pricing documentation and work on multilateral controversy projects by applying your technical skills in linking complex business activities with intercompany transactions throughout Ørsted’s global projects. You’ll own key parts of the documentation process, from gathering business input to interpreting and applying legislation, analysing data and drafting clear, audit-ready files. In addition, you’ll help ensure our transfer pricing positions are consistent and robust for the business and argue our positions if challenged.

Welcome to Tax

You’ll be part of Transfer Pricing Operations where you, together with your team, will support global transfer pricing compliance, documentation, controversy activities and stakeholder engagement across multiple jurisdictions. The team is part of Tax and works closely with colleagues in Denmark, Poland, the US, Germany, Taiwan, and the UK.

As a team, we are curios, hold high standards, and support collaboration, helping each other build strong transfer pricing capabilities and apply them across jurisdictions.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • preparing and reviewing contemporaneous transfer pricing documentation, including scoping of entities, conducting functional interviews across the business and supporting optimisation of processes relevant to your work

  • analysing transactions and business activities from a transfer pricing perspective to support appropriate pricing and documentation

  • supporting discussions and disputes with tax authorities by coordinating inputs, clarifying facts, and drafting responses to enquiries

  • building transfer pricing awareness and provide guidance through presentations for non-tax stakeholders

  • collaborating closely with finance, legal, and business units to turn complex facts into clear transfer pricing documentation.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have solid transfer pricing experience from an in-house role, consulting, or a tax authority, with hands-on work on documentation and stakeholder management

  • work in a structured way, take ownership, and deliver to agreed timelines without compromising quality

  • communicate clearly with both tax and non-tax stakeholders, and are comfortable facilitating functional interviews

  • are motivated by complex cross-border topics, and can turn ambiguity into clear conclusions and next steps

  • speak and write English fluently, and can produce clear, concise documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
