Business Analyst

Imagine a future where you are part of a highly skilled and dynamic team working with business development and complex gas contracts.

Join us in this role, where you’ll work with analytical tasks and contract management that support our Gas Origination activities. You’ll contribute to market and product analysis, support monthly reporting, and help manage executed contracts. This includes tracking contract obligations, coordinating with internal stakeholders such as finance, risk, credit, and invoicing, and validating data like back‑office invoices. You’ll also support contract setup in our systems and help improve documentation and processes.

You’ll join a skilled and collaborative team that values quality, learning, and continuous improvement.

Welcome to Europe Gas
You’ll be part of Gas Origination, where you, together with your colleagues, will drive the long-term agenda for natural gas and biogas. We offer the opportunity to work in a commercial environment with clear business impact. As a team, we collaborate across a matrix organisation and value openness, teamwork, and shared responsibility. We believe diverse perspectives help us make better decisions and achieve stronger results together.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • analysing business development opportunities using data from a range of sources, such as counterparty nominations and reports related to fuel and flaring
  • managing our contract portfolio by working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure contract obligations are met, reporting is accurate, and internal compliance requirements are fulfilled
  • improving and streamlining documentation, processes, and our overall way of working to make them clearer and more efficient

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a relevant degree (for example in business, economics, engineering, law, or similar) or equivalent experience
  • enjoy working with data and commercial topics, communicate clearly, and feel comfortable collaborating with multiple stakeholders at the same time
  • are structured and able to explain complex topics in a clear and professional way to colleagues, managers, and other stakeholders.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
