Business Project Manager for IT integration projects

Join us in this role where you’ll be a part of Ørsted’s Bioenergy division as a Business Project Manager responsible for IT integration across building and expansion projects. You´ll shape how we design and integrate IT solutions for Bioenergy assets - from larger building projects to new technologies like battery storage or carbon capture and storage. Your work will ensure IT capabilities enable efficient operations and reliable maintenance from day one.

 

Welcome to Digital Products & Processes
You’ll be part of the Digital Products & Processes department, a cross-functional group consisting of ERP specialists (SAP master data), agile Product Owners, and Project Managers. where you, together with your colleagues, will collaborate across teams and build a broad network across Bioenergy and IT to drive value in every project. You’ll be given the unique opportunity to shape IT integration for green-energy assets and cutting-edge technologies. As a team, we have a collaborative, cross-functional environment focused on value creation and practical outcomes.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • lead IT integration within projects that restructure or expand Bioenergy plants, ensuring IT applications are fit-for-purpose and aligned with business needs
  • identify and analyse end-to-end processes and IT requirements, translating them into clear design inputs and coherent solutions
  • manage a broad stakeholder map across IT and Bioenergy departments (and external partners), capturing needs and driving aligned prioritisation and value
  • facilitate cross-functional decision-making, resolve conflicts, and ensure timely delivery
  • engage IT/OT security, IT architecture, and other key functions early in the design phase to ensure security by design across all integrations.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • speak fluenty Danish (professional proficiency); English at a working level
  • can prioritise; you can say no to non-value-adding requests and promote standard, scalable solutions aligned with Ørsted’s business priorities
  • are outcome- and value-focused, ensuring solutions contribute to strategic objectives
  • have experiencie with both traditional waterfall and agile/product-led delivery
  • are willing to travel within Denmark (approximately 10–25% of your time).

Position salary range:
For this position, the expected base pay range is kr55,280.00- kr82,920.00 for the advertised location. The offered base salary will be determined within this range based on relevant skills, experience, and expected role fulfilment within the stated pay range to ensure a fair and competitive offer. Where applicable, you may also be eligible for variable payment and a comprehensive benefits package.
