You’ll be part of our Global Commercial Organization, reporting to the Global Chief Development Officer (CDO). This role combines strategic advisory, commercial acumen, and operational execution to shape and deliver the CDO’s agenda across the Commercial organization on a global scale. As a trusted advisor and CSLT member, you’ll help drive performance discipline, bolster decision quality for key investment decisions, strengthen risk management, translate strategy into actionable workstreams, and champion our culture of safety, integrity, and inclusion.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • performance management and operating cadence: manage development and tracking of commercial performance metrics; ensure clear accountability and timely visibility to CSLT and the Board via formal reporting
  • external engagement: support strategic engagements with external stakeholders such as customers, partners, regulators, investors and coordinate messaging with Communications leads
  • decision and business support: deliver timely, commercially grounded insights on investment decisions, bid strategies, market-entry assessments, and risk flags., challenging and refining views to strengthen decision-making
  • Leadership operating rhythms: design and manage performance cadences, decision fora, and governance processes in partnership with Finance and Strategy; stand in for the CDO in key meetings and presentations as required
  • Board/executive communications: help prepare updates for the Board and senior leadership; contribute to executive summaries, briefings, and strategic updates
  • culture and leadership: champion our culture, safety, engagement, and inclusion; support talent development and ERG/EDI initiatives
  • special projects: lead or sponsor strategic initiatives outside the line organization requiring cross-functional coordination. 

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • demonstrate strong collaboration and leadership capabilities with the ability to manage complex workstreams
  • have experience supporting investment decisions, bid strategy, market assessments, or similar strategic initiatives, comfort with risk assessment and challenge
  • have a proven ability to synthesize complex information into concise, decision-ready insights
  • are a strategic thinker with hands-on execution style
  • have excellent communication skills, with ability to influence and build trusted relationships with stakeholders internally and externally
  • demonstrate strong project management skills and mindset
  • have a willingness to travel as needed to support global engagements.
