Enterprise Risk Management Lead
Join us in this role where you’ll be helping us to implement an Enterprise-wide Risk Management Framework supported by an Ørsted risk platform to strengthen our resilience towards risks in an increasingly complex and ever-changing world.
Welcome to Group Risk Management
You’ll be part of Enterprise Risk Management where you, together with your colleagues, will implement an approach to classifying, aggregating, assigning ownership, and reporting on all material risks across the organisation. You’ll take a lead role in supporting key initiatives to implement the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, being the Enterprise Risk business responsible for our Ørsted risk platform, including managing usage and providing training as well as driving high quality reporting on risk to senior stakeholders. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate and work closely with many of our stakeholders across the business, in all stages of the value chain and region.
As a team, we work in a highly collaborative way, supporting each other to develop and learn through a wide variety of tasks. We develop as a team, making use of each team member’s skillsets and as individuals, by ensuring that all team members have challenging tasks.
You’ll play an important role in:
- designing and implementing Enterprise Risk Management governance, analysis, processes and reporting
- proactively supporting the business and other risk teams in understanding and applying the Enterprise Risk Management Framework into business processes by providing guidance, tools and training to identify, manage and assess risks
- being the Enterprise Risk business owner of Ørsted’s risk platform, collaborating with key business responsible to drive better usage of the platform across the company including onboarding few business areas onto the platform
- managing updates, overseeing licence usage and ensuring compliance with the Enterprise Risk Framework as well as driving training and other initiatives
- preparing and delivering high-quality quarterly risk reporting for key stakeholders, including Executive Management and the Board of Directors, as well as contributing to the ERM section of Ørsted’s Annual Report.
To succeed in the role, you:
- hold an academic degree in risk management, business administration or management, economics, or similar
- are experienced in designing and implementing risk management frameworks and reporting on risks, preferably at an enterprise-wide level
- have actively been involved and contributed during the rollout and implementation of enterprise-wide risk platforms
- are skilled in training individuals to use enterprise-wide risk platforms and have acted as a super user, driving improved utilization in large organizations
- are friendly and approachable with strong communication skills, capable of managing diverse stakeholders
- have excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to tailor approach and present complex information to broad audiences.
