GDPR & AI compliance specialist within IT

Join us in this role where you’ll cooperate with colleagues in maintaining and improving GDPR compliance within Ørsted IT.​

You’ll be part of Governance Risk & Compliance where you, together with your colleagues, will strive to ensure a consistent, systematic, and effective approach to regulatory compliance, with a risk-informed and conformance-centric approach. As a second-line function, we interact with a wide range of internal stakeholders from all business areas, as well as assisting with compliance reporting.

As a team, we value collaboration, proactive problem-solving, and continuous improvement, working together to monitor, document, and report compliance status.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • contributing to the development of policies, requirements, frameworks, and governance for AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Cyber Security
  • ensuring comprehensive documentation of IT's personal data processing activities, including Records of Processing Activities (ROPA)
  • supporting the legal department by reviewing technical criteria in initial data protection assessments (IDPA), for intake and cyclical review
  • guiding application owners in AI assessments (AIIA), and reporting status
  • collaborating with technical application managers to ensure technical solutions comply with GDPR and AI, and that local processes consider and adhere to these legislations
  • participating in various compliance activities.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • effectively engage with diverse stakeholders within a large, international matrix organization
  • work agile and can interact with an agile IT organization
  • are self-driven, and naturally curious
  • implement an improvement process and can help the organization drive improvement initiatives
  • have an understanding of either GDPR, AI or Cyber Security, and interest to learn
  • possess good written and verbal communication skills in English.
