  • building a strong analytical model suite, including setting the vision and roadmap for fundamental supply and demand modelling, weather forecasting and price forecasting
  • building and scaling our algorithmic trading platform, related models and execution logic, and providing dedicated resources to trading teams for algo strategy development
  • developing and productionising quantitative decision-support tools, as well as delivering bespoke quant support to traders, originators and portfolio managers
  • building a data-centric infrastructure that enables models and algorithms to seamlessly access information from across systems in partnership with IT
  • growing, coaching, and developing a high performing analytics organisation with strong leadership, clear standards, and a culture of continuous improvement.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • bring strong leadership experience from market analysis, quantitative modeling, data science or algo development, preferably from a commodity trading environment
  • combine a solid quantitative foundation with the ability to steer priorities, scope, and delivery across multiple workstreams
  • translate complex analytics into clear, decision ready insights for front-office, and drive alignment across interfaces
  • understand how front office needs translate into scalable models, tools, and platforms, and can balance speed with robustness
  • build strong teams through coaching, delegation, and clear ways of working
  • collaborate effectively across functions and act with integrity, pragmatism and a solutions focused mindset.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
