Join us in this role where you’ll help develop the portfolio composition, have ultimate responsibility on structuring, pricing, and hedging across originated contracts and related market exposures. You’ll translate complex commercial opportunities into robust portfolio outcomes within approved risk limits, while working closely with origination, trading and analytics colleagues to optimise value, manage risk, and develop innovative solutions in a dynamic market environment.

 

Welcome to Structured Portfolio
You’ll be part of Structured Portfolio Management where you will lead a team responsible for shaping, pricing, hedging, and optimising a structured portfolio of contracts comprising of PPA’s, Structured Transactions, Tolling agreements and other bespoke solutions. The team sits at the core of deal shaping and portfolio decision-making, ensuring structured transactions are commercially attractive, risk disciplined, and executable in the market. You’ll be leading a multidisciplinary team of portfolio managers, structurers, and quantitative specialists, and working closely with origination, green certificates, risk management, asset portfolio management, and analytical functions.

 

As a team, we collaborate closely, challenge ideas constructively, and support each other in finding better solutions to complex market opportunities.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • defining the target portfolio refining which products should be targeted, within approved risk limits, including hedging strategies for bespoke origination deals
  • leading the structuring and pricing of contract solutions across structured energy products and related exposures, including valuation assumptions, optionality, downside/risk treatment, and hedge ability
  • continuous monitoring, management and improving portfolio risk-return profile through re-shaping, hedge adjustments, exposure management, and active portfolio steering
  • identifying and shaping opportunities that strengthen portfolio exposure, identifying new structures or portfolio adjustments that improve value, diversification, flexibility, or hedge efficiency
  • owning the market-facing management and hedging of exposures arising from originated contracts, including execution choices and hedge strategy design
  • leading, developing, and inspiring a specialist team across portfolio management, structuring, and quantitative disciplines.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • bring strong experience leading a structuring, portfolio management, trading, or similar front-office function, ideally from a leading utility or trading house
  • have a deep understanding of structured energy products, portfolio optimisation, valuation, and risk management, as well as comfort in working in bespoke and illiquid products
  • have a desire to own develop and execute hedging strategies in a commercial, market-facing environment
  • have experience of displaying strong commercial judgement with a disciplined approach to risk taking and decision-making
  • enjoy working in a flexible, solutions-oriented way with origination teams to develop new structures, products, and commercial opportunities
  • have a relevant degree or equivalent experience, alongside clear leadership capability in managing specialist or cross-functional teams.

Position salary range:
For this position, the expected base pay range is kr88,000.00- kr132,000.00 for the advertised location. The offered base salary will be determined within this range based on relevant skills, experience, and expected role fulfilment within the stated pay range to ensure a fair and competitive offer. Where applicable, you may also be eligible for variable payment and a comprehensive benefits package.
