Welcome to Group Revenue Risk
You’ll be part of Group Revenue Risk where you, together with your colleagues, will head up a newly established team comprising risk managers and risk model developers. We have recently embarked on the journey as 2nd line of defence for Revenue Risks and as the ‘Head of Revenue Risk and Risk Models’ you have the unique opportunity build a team that excels in enforcing a sound risk management practice, ensure fit-for-purpose Revenue Risk Policies, innovate and advance our 2nd line risk models and deliver high quality risk reporting on Risk Appetite Limits to the Board of Directors and internal Risk Committees.

As a team, we collaborate, challenge and advice colleagues in Ørsted’s Trading and Origination departments on a frequent basis and lead our way in driving a cultural change across 1st and 2nd line. During 2025 we will focus on rolling out 3 lines of defence, review and cascade risk limits internally and establish fundamental building blocks for our continued journey as 2nd line.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • Building and leading your new team incl. drive team spirit and recruit the right talent
  • Leading the way on a strengthened risk management practice by shaping the future 2nd line in Ørsted, pioneering within the energy industry
  • Developing and enforcing fit-for-purpose Revenue Risk Policies, ensuring effective risk management by the 1st line
  • Ensuring that 2nd line risk models cover all material risks within the scope of Revenue and Financial Risks
  • Timely and relevant risk reporting to Board of Directors and internal Risk Committees.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • Have good people leadership skills, with experience in building and leading teams
  • Have experience with implementation of 3 lines of defense, preferably from a 2nd line role
  • Possess risk management expertise and has the ability to set ambitions and requirements to 2nd line risk models
  • Are good at building strong personal and professional relationships, are experienced in role-modelling a sound and professional risk culture
  • Have expertise in policy development and implementation, aligning policies with strategic objectives.
