Head of Risk Advisory & Frameworks

Join us in this role where you’ll have the opportunity to influence, shape and transform our risk management practices and frameworks. Your team will among other things engage with a wide stakeholder landscape to ensure reasonable risk assumptions and sensitivities are covered in business cases, advance and develop our Revenue Risk stress testing framework and last but not least offer independent advice on revenue and hedging risk topics to support the commercial teams on maximizing value generation from our renewables portfolio.

You’ll be part of Group Revenue Risk where you, together with your colleagues, will embark on a journey to become best-in-class 2nd line of defense for Revenue Risks across the global renewables portfolio. We are looking for a curious and ambitious people leader to drive our strengthened risk management practice, and you will lead the way in driving cultural change, balancing ambitions with realistic planning, and ensuring effective risk management across various departments such as Valuation, M&A and Commercial functions.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • Building and leading your team, including driving team spirit and recruiting the right talents
  • Enhancing and implementing advanced Stress testing and risk capital frameworks to ensure robust risk assessment
  • Being a relevant, specialized and trusted risk advisory, and challenge the business when needed
  • Ensuring Revenue Risks are understood, assessed, quantified and valued accurately and consistently across the company
  • Working effectively across various departments to ensure accurate reflection of risks in decision-making.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • Have good people leadership skills, with experience in building and leading teams
  • Possess risk management and hedging expertise, with the ability to understand, assess, and evaluate revenue and financial risks
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate complex risk concepts and are comfortable sharing your opinion and challenge status quo
  • Have experience in translating complex problems into frameworks
  • Have a good understanding of risk/reward, valuation and stress testing
  • Have experience with energy markets, renewable assets, and the PPA markets.
