Lead Business Controller

Imagine a future where you oversee the controlling and business partnering of offshore wind farms for the market leader within offshore wind energy.


Join us in this role where you’ll play a central role in the Ørsted groups internal and external financial reporting. In this role you will be preparing the groups reporting and forming both decision materials for the executive management layers and a key coordinator in the external financial reporting to the stock market. This is more than just numbers; it’s about delivering insights that matter in an easily understandable way and helping leaders make smarter decisions.

 

Welcome to Group Reporting and Group Finance/Corporate Controlling
You’ll be part of our Group Reporting team within the Group Finance and Corporate Controlling area where you, together with your colleagues, will work closely with various stakeholders who are passionate about turning financial data into insights.

As a team, we serve as the vital link creating the group view on business performance and converting to easy insight into financial results, empowering our executive teams to make decisions. In this collaborative environment, you'll not only sharpen your skills in reporting and forecasting but also make a real impact by helping to create transparent insights for our management.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • review and controlling of internal business area reporting and preparation of summarized group reporting for the executive management
  • coordinating our annual and quarterly financial reporting to the external market including preparation of the management review sections, messaging and layout etc
  • defining group requirements and work on improvements for the reporting setup in the Group based on standard reporting requirements
  • coordinate and prepare the Remuneration Report in close collaboration with HR and relevant internal stakeholders
  • drive coordination and documentation of selected accounting impacts across functions and with exposure to executive management
  • support to executive management with various reporting needs and deep dives.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a relevant master’s degree in finance or economics
  • have proven experience in financial analysis and reporting
  • have knowledge about the green energy industry and/or our trading business
  • demonstrate a strong business mindset and curiosity about what drives value
  • possess excellent communication skills and can translate complex data into clear written and oral insights
  • demonstrates strong stakeholder management capabilities
  • have a proactive, positive attitude and the courage to challenge the status quo.
