Lead Quantitative Analyst

Join us in this role where you’ll lead advanced modelling and analytical projects, enabling strategic decision-making across our trading and asset investment/divestment decisions. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions and ensure robust analysis that drives the transition to green energy. 

You’ll be part of Quantitative Market Analytics, where you, together with your colleagues, will design, develop, and implement valuation and revenue analysis, supporting our commercial teams and contributing to cross-functional projects. Our team combines deep analytical skills with market insight, working closely with experts across departments and geographies to deliver impactful results.

You’ll play an important role in:   

  • being a super user of internal stochastic model platform (developed by a team in Trading & Revenue) 

  • model and value financial and real options in connection to valuation of contract and asset deals/bids 

  • develop tools to support team and stakeholders 

  • assess and value revenue strategies for specific assets 

  • verbal and written communication of analysis/valuation to stakeholders. 

 

To succeed in the role, you: 

  • have experience in working as a quantitative analyst 

  • have good statistical and financial mathematical knowledge 

  • possess excellent programming skills e.g. python 

  • are proficient in modelling, data management and quantitative analysis 

  • are capable of driving/leading own projects/tasks 

  • can explain complex matters to non-quants.
