Join us in this role where you’ll lead cross-border tax advisory projects, navigate M&A transactions, and tackle complex commercial challenges. You’ll have autonomy to deliver innovative strategies, influence critical business decisions, and support colleagues across  Ørsted’s worldwide portfolio. As a Lead Tax Specialist, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, collaborate on international projects, and contribute to Ørsted’s sustainable growth and development. 

 

Welcome to Tax Advisory 
You’ll be part of the Tax Advisory team where you, together with your colleagues, will provide expert guidance on international tax matters, focusing on commercial and M&A activities. Our team is composed of skilled tax professionals, working collaboratively across locations to solve cross-border challenges and drive business value. 

As a team, we foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous learning, supporting each other to achieve excellence and deliver meaningful solutions. 

 

You’ll play an important role in:  

  • advise on cross-border tax matters and commercial structuring for international projects 

  • lead and support M&A transactions, ensuring compliance and optimizing outcomes 

  • develop and implement tax strategies aligned with business objectives 

  • collaborate across functions and markets, sharing expertise and driving innovation 

  • analyze complex tax issues, providing actionable solutions to stakeholders 

  • mentor colleagues and contribute to ongoing professional development. 

 

To succeed in the role, you:  

  • demonstrate a commercial mindset and solution-focused approach 

  • possess deep knowledge of international tax, preferably with experience in M&A or equivalent experience 

  • excel in cross-functional collaboration and communication 

  • show strong analytical skills and attention to detail 

  • embrace autonomy, adaptability, and continuous development 

  • bring inclusive, team-oriented soft skills and a growth mindset.
