Network engineer with extensive Wi-fi knowledge

Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for deployment and support of infrastructure solutions for our growing global business in close collaboration with business stakeholders and onsite assistance. You will be a key partner alongside the best engineers in the industry to create “best in class” network solutions.  Our ambition is to secure that our network is running in the most reliable and efficient way. The role is associated with technology used in business operations 24x7 365 days. Regular travel to our production sites across Denmark is required, so a valid DK driver's license is necessary.

 

Welcome to IT Infrastructure
You’ll be part of Site Enablement Team where you, together with your colleagues, will support the operation of our critical assets globally, with a focus on hands-on work at Danish sites. Our department is made up of 14 highly skilled colleagues spread around the world, working in an international and dynamic setup to ensure we always have stable and reliable infrastructure available and online. We work towards our company vision and collaborate with local and global stakeholders to achieve our business goals and seize learning opportunities.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • ensuring stable and secure operations of all sites globally, with a focus on Wi-Fi solutions
  • collaborating with your team members, network architects, enterprise architects and our local and global stakeholders for daily management and operational troubleshooting
  • keeping up with the global network team to be aware of updates and changes to our global strategy
  • working closely with the IT Product Owner to comprehend, execute, and document the technical requirements essential for the analysis, design, and operations of our Wi-Fi solutions
  • setting up network infrastructure in new locations or changing existing, including configuring DHCP, DNS, and Cisco equipment.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • are generally interested in working with IT Enterprise network and connectivity
  • are a team player with a collaborative spirit, a can-do-attitude, naturally engaging in a diverse distributed agile team, where communication is key to establish a strong supporting team collaboration
  • are capable of independently solving tasks and issues, with strong problem-solving skills in a Cisco Wireless setup
  • have general knowledge with routers and switches, preferably from a Cisco environment
  • hold a degree in IT network related education, Engineering or another related field.
