Join us in this role where you’ll optimise and create value from our gas portfolio, working closely with stakeholders across the organisation. You’ll focus on maximising trading value from our assets while helping to shape the business across Europe, gaining extensive business insight and a strong sense of responsibility.

You’ll be part of Structured Gas where you, together with your colleagues, will manage and develop a high-performing gas portfolio, combining market knowledge, analytics, and commercial judgement to capture value across Europe. You’ll play an important role in:

  • maximising value from our portfolio of assets while managing risk
  • optimising our flexible gas assets using fundamental and quantitative analysis
  • owning trading strategies and the day-to-day management of the asset portfolio
  • structuring deals for non-standard gas products
  • analysing and structuring complex data
  • ensuring positive PnL and risk transparency from our activities.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • preferably bring experience from European gas markets and/or commodities, ideally including optionality optimisation and deal structuring
  • show initiative, and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation
  • are solution-oriented, and thrive in an international environment
  • have knowledge of options and derivative pricing
  • enjoy solving complex commercial problems with a structured approach
  • preferably bring programming skills (e.g., Python), or equivalent experience.
