Procurement Manager
Join us in this role where you’ll lead the procurement of transportation and customs services, managing contracts and projects as well as driving strategic improvements in our logistics procurement discipline. You’ll act as both a hands-on executor and a strategic partner, supporting colleagues across regions and projects.

You’ll be part of the transportation & customs team where you, together with your colleagues, will manage sourcing and procurement of freight services, oversee transportation and customs contracts, and drive continuous improvement. Working in a diverse and international environment, you’ll collaborate across multiple regions and markets, supporting global projects and regularly engaging with stakeholders from various departments.

You’ll play an important role in:
- sourcing and procuring freight services for global energy projects, ensuring both best value for money and technical compliance
- managing transportation and customs contracts, including supplier engagement, dispute resolution, and performance management
- developing and maturing the transportation and customs category, recording savings, performing spend analysis and demonstrating commercial value to the business
- supporting colleagues as a sparring partner, offering commercial and functional expertise across projects and regions
- proactively engaging with internal and external stakeholders to understand needs and deliver solutions
- driving continuous improvement and commercial success in a fast-paced, global environment.
- coordinating complex logistics operations and projects.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have experience in transportation, logistics, customs, or freight procurement, industry-specific experience is valued but not required
- strong technical understanding of global logistics, shipping, customs regulations, incoterms, and basic freight markets
- are proficient with procurement processes, guidelines, and technical language
- hold a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field; certifications such as CIPS, CILT, or FIATA are a plus but not essential
- demonstrate strong stakeholder management, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and cultures.
