Join us in this role where you’ll be Product Owner for the Analytics & Portfolio Models team in Digital Technology, where you'll own and shape a growing product area enabling quantitative models, analytics capabilities, and development platforms for traders, analysts, and quants across Ørsted's trading organisation. Working at the intersection of trading, analytics, and technology, you'll help turn analytical and portfolio models into products and capabilities that support decision-making, optimise trading performance, and enable the next generation of analytics and quantitative tools.

 

Welcome to Analytics & Portfolio Models 
You’ll be part of Analytics & Portfolio Models team where you, together with your colleagues, will build the development platform that helps traders, analysts, and quants make better decisions, create business value, and increase transparency in model outcomes. The area combines commercial understanding, modern technology, and DevOps capabilities for commodity trading.

We are newly established team and expected to grow as part of an ambitious strategy to strengthen analytics and quantitative capabilities across Ørsted's trading organisation. In this role, you'll work closely with stakeholders across Trading, Analytics, Portfolio Models, and Digital Technology while collaborating with software product teams in Denmark, Poland, and Malaysia.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • driving the evolution of analytics and modelling platforms and infrastructure that accelerate analytics, AI adoption, portfolio optimisation, and decision-making across Ørsted's trading business
  • driving the products for fast and frictionless analytics, model development, and experimentation through self-service capabilities, development environments, automated onboarding, and modern engineering tool
  • shaping the product roadmap by balancing innovation and speed with cybersecurity, governance, and operational resilience
  • ensuring seamless access to data and digital capabilities through close collaboration with the Trading Data Products organisation, architects, and development teams across Commercial Digital Technology
  • driving product scalability and adoption by continuously improving user experience, performance, reliability, and transparency across analytics and portfolio modelling ecosystems
  • enabling the next generation of AI-powered ways of working by providing foundations for experimentation, model development, agentic software engineering, and responsible adoption of AI technologies.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • are an experienced Product Owner or similar product leader with a track record of defining product vision, prioritising roadmaps, and driving adoption of digital products 
  • have experience in or a strong interest in energy trading, commodity trading, banking, or financial markets 
  • have experience working with analytics capabilities, quantitative models, analytics platforms, or similar business-critical solutions 
  • are great at adapting to different stakeholder groups in trading and IT
  • have sufficient technical understanding to engage with engineers, architects, and data specialists 
  • understand the importance of governance and cybersecurity while recognising the need for speed and flexibility in a trading environment 
  • have experience with shaping product strategy and turning opportunities into tangible business outcomes.

Position salary range:
For this position, the expected base pay range is kr53,040.00- kr79,560.00 for the advertised location. The offered base salary will be determined within this range based on relevant skills, experience, and expected role fulfilment within the stated pay range to ensure a fair and competitive offer. Where applicable, you may also be eligible for variable payment and a comprehensive benefits package.
