Project Manager (Maternity cover)

Join us in this role where you’ll be a key player in the Portfolio Management Office (PMO), which is fundamental for ensuring that we do projects right and have the right projects in our QHSE project portfolio (quality, health, safety, and environment).

Welcome to QHSE PMO

You’ll be part of our QHSE PMO team where you, together with your colleagues, will support portfolio and project management within QHSE. We have done a step-change into the digital world, and have implemented digital solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, Power Apps and not least AI to streamline data analysis, reporting, and process automation within project management. As a Senior Project Lead you will support our QHSE projects and the digital tools, and sometimes step in as a project manager in our projects.

In the department we have an informal working culture, and we do a lot of networking with the business.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • supporting development of portfolio and projects, from strategic initiatives to fully planned QHSE projects
  • being responsible for project training sessions for project managers and project owners. This includes training via Ørsted Academy for employees outside QHSE
  • coaching and mentoring project owners and project managers
  • ensuring that our internal project contracts are of high quality
  • support and further develop our digital solutions
  • take on the role as project manager when needed.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • are a people person and are adept at building relationships with a diverse range of global stakeholders.
  • preferably have a recognised project, programme, and portfolio management qualification, e.g., PRINCE2, MSP, MoP, PMP, etc.
  • have experience using Microsoft Power BI and Power Apps
  • have experience as project manager.
  • have an analytic mindset and can make complex information easily understandable.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
