Join us in this role where you’ll ensure accurate and stable daily calculations for our gas portfolio. You’ll analyse and explain market-to-market values and risk metrics, helping colleagues understand portfolio performance and make well-informed commercial decisions.
Welcome to Structuring & Analysis
You’ll be part of Structuring & Analysis where you, together with your colleagues, will provide quantitative analysis and reliable calculations for the gas portfolio. You’ll work close to the trading business, and risk management colleagues, connecting technical results with daily commercial decisions.

You’ll play an important role in:

ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and operational stability of end-of-day calculations for the gas portfolio
-
analysing and explaining the market-to-market value of the portfolio and the factors driving changes
-
connecting portfolio results with risk metrics and explaining the calculations used in risk reporting
-
supporting the gas portfolio with day-to-day quantitative analysis and timely investigation of results
-
acting as a point of contact between the gas portfolio and development colleagues to improve tools and calculations
-
identifying opportunities to strengthen calculation processes, controls, and analytical quality.
To succeed in the role, you:
-
have a master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, finance, or another quantitative field, or equivalent experience

apply mathematical and statistical knowledge to practical business questions and can investigate results with accuracy and attention to detail
-
have programming experience and can work confidently with financial domain specific languages, quantitative models, and calculation tools
-
communicate complex technical concepts clearly and patiently to both technical and non-technical colleagues
-
work well with stakeholders in a fast-moving environment, respond constructively when priorities change, and take ownership of issues
-
have knowledge of European gas markets or experience in a desk quant, trading, portfolio, or risk environment, or are motivated to develop this knowledge.

Position salary range:
For this position, the expected base pay range is kr51,440.00- kr77,160.00 for the advertised location. The offered base salary will be determined within this range based on relevant skills, experience, and expected role fulfilment within the stated pay range to ensure a fair and competitive offer. Where applicable, you may also be eligible for variable payment and a comprehensive benefits package.
