Join us in this role where you’ll drive breakthrough cost reduction initiatives through standardization and industrialization across categories and functions.
Welcome to Offshore Wind Category Strategy
You’ll be part of Offshore Wind Category Strategy department where, together with your colleagues in the Integrated Category Strategy team, you will play a pivotal role in developing a comprehensive cost-out release framework. This includes managing a Lifecycle Management Catalogue for LCoE (Levelized Cost of Energy), establishing a robust pipeline that integrates technical, commercial, standardization, industrialization, and value chain considerations, and driving innovation to deliver value across the portfolio.
As a team we are dedicated to maintaining a positive and supportive work environment that fosters strong relationships within and across teams, with a particular focus on promoting effective cross-functional collaboration.
You’ll play an important role in:
- challenging technical requirements and proposing industrial design options to Engineering and Project Services assessing the cost implications of system and component architecture changes (Design to Value measures)
- collaborating with Engineering, Project Service, and Generation to identify next-generation industrialisation cost-out measures and ensuring their integration into future projects
- benchmarking best market practices and solutions, providing key stakeholders with up-to-date insights into standardisation and industrialisation trends, cost structures and reductions identified by should cost analysis
- supporting Advanced Procurement (AP) activities by contributing to the winning formula and aligning with project needs during bidding phases
- driving and maintaining an overview of cost-out levers.
To succeed in the role, you:
- understand the regulatory and political landscapes and their impact on supply chain activities
- relevant experience in supply chain in relevant industries, from either the buyer or seller perspective
- hold a master’s degree in a technical or commercial field, or equivalent qualifications
- have experience with Design-to-Value methodology and its application
- are fluent in English, both written and verbal, at a negotiation level
- possess strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
