You’ll be part of the broader Strategy, Innovation & Transformation function, which defines the company’s strategic direction and drives toward it. As part of the Digital Innovation Catalyst team, you’ll help turn Ørsted’s most important digital and AI opportunities into tangible business impact, working with leaders across the organisation to shape the future of green energy. This role involves staying at the forefront of digital technology trends, including AI, and requires you to understand and integrate perspectives from various business areas and disciplines to create tangible business value. You’ll play an important role in:  

  • Identifying and driving complex, high-value digital innovation initiatives across the organisation 

  • Driving the strategic direction of Digital and AI Innovation across the company, in close partnership with the Corporate Strategy team and the Digital Technology (IT) function 

  • Lead structured problem-solving with senior stakeholders across the organisation to identify, scope, and shape high-value AI and digital opportunities, translating ambiguous business challenges into clear opportunity areas and business cases 

  • Providing insights on mid- to long-horizon digital innovations to step change our competitiveness, including novel digital business models and emerging digital technologies 

  • Collaborating closely with our agile organisation, IT teams, and technical colleagues in Digital Innovation to enable prioritisation of use cases and deliver priority initiatives 

  • Where relevant, mentoring or managing the workload of more junior team-members 

  • Supporting activities that enable the organisation to maintain and evolve employee AI literacy 

 

To succeed in the role, you:  

  • Bring a robust consulting toolkit, ideally gained from management consulting, corporate strategy or digital innovation teams working with large corporate or scale-up environments 

  • Have a holistic problem-solving mindset when tackling challenges, utilising service-design approaches, systems thinking, process design or other techniques to develop effective outcomes which are underpinned by AI & Digital technologies 

  • Have a strong drive to deliver high-quality work, a willingness to learn, and a self-starting attitude 

  • Have a firm grasp of recent developments in the AI space and a curiosity to continue learning, including but not limited to Agentic models, Implementing AI at scale within enterprises, AI compliance etc. 

  • Have hands-on experience with scoping and prioritising digital or innovation opportunities, ideally with AI, including quantifying value potential and feasibility 

  • Are comfortable using quantitative and qualitative analysis to structure complex problems, test hypotheses, size opportunities, and communicate crisp, insight-led recommendations to senior stakeholders 

  • Have a collaborative and diverse mindset and can create and sustain trust-based relationships with your stakeholders

Position salary range:
For this position, the expected base pay range is kr54,880.00- kr82,320.00 for the advertised location. The offered base salary will be determined within this range based on relevant skills, experience, and expected role fulfilment within the stated pay range to ensure a fair and competitive offer. Where applicable, you may also be eligible for variable payment and a comprehensive benefits package.
