Senior Management Consultant

Join us in this role where you will work closely with managers to set ambitious goals and find practical ways to develop their organisational capabilities and implement improvements for higher, sustainable performance. Our internal consultancy team works in all areas of the company – examples include large-scale offshore installation projects, operations supply chain as well as Finance and HR.

You will be part of a consulting team with 10 colleagues who are all dedicated to the role and the career of being an internal consultant in a large, global organisation. The team is set up to work as an independent consulting firm inside the company. Together with your colleagues, you will manage consulting engagements in the role of project manager, or in the role of consultant, and you will conduct a wide selection of typical management consulting tasks, such as mapping processes, analysing data, defining KPIs and targets, identifying critical behaviour and cultural aspects, developing communication material, and driving the change process.

 

You will play an important role in:

  • inspiring managers to define ambitious goals based on a thorough understanding of the business logic and need for improvements
  • driving the analysis of the current reality to identify the critical issues that drive performance
  • facilitating the development of creative new ideas that will resolve the issues and help build stronger organisational capabilities that will help to deal with future problems
  • coaching managers and their teams to make the change come to life – and be embedded in the day-to-days ways of working, using a range of, goal-oriented, iterative implementation methods

 

      To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a high-achieving mindset combined with a humble, client-oriented and personal approach to consulting
  • have solid experience from external consulting in the role of consultant as well as in the role of project manager
  • have a master’s degree combined with a strong business understanding and technical curiosity
  • thrive on data-driven analytical work, have practical experience with Lean Six Sigma, and preferably also have experience from improving large capex projects
  • have strong communication skills with proven experience of communicating and presenting to both senior leadership and the wider organisation
  • have an ability to listen actively, adapt and build relationships in a diverse setting with various stakeholders
