Join us in this role where you’ll turn market insights and portfolio analysis into commercial strategies for our European wind power assets. You’ll assess complex exposures, identify value opportunities, and help develop dynamic hedging strategies that balance risk and return across the portfolio.
Welcome to Trading & Revenue
You’ll be part of Asset Portfolio Management where you together with your colleagues will manage the market exposure of Ørsted’s European wind power assets, including corporate power purchase agreement exposures. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across Trading, Origination, Risk Management, Finance, and the asset business to develop and execute portfolio strategies.

You’ll play an important role in:

driving active portfolio management and continuously assessing complex, non-linear exposures
-
developing structural market views and translating them into commercial portfolio strategies

shaping dynamic hedging strategies using standard market products and structured transactions
-
identifying opportunities to diversify risk, improve the portfolio’s position, and maximise value
-
structuring and valuing transactions and performing risk assessments using quantitative models, including Python

communicating recommendations clearly and influencing decisions with senior stakeholders across Trading, Origination, Risk Management, Finance, and the asset business.
To succeed in the role, you:
-
bring a strong market and commercial mindset, supported by experience in portfolio management, trading, or a related energy-market role

have a strong understanding of European power markets, and ideally gas markets, and can connect market developments with portfolio opportunities and risks

can combine commercial judgement, market insights, and quantitative analysis in Python tools to make clear, well-founded recommendations

hold a master’s degree in economics, finance, energy, engineering, or another relevant quantitative field, or have equivalent experience

communicate complex analysis in a clear, practical way and can engage and influence stakeholders across different functions and levels

enjoy working collaboratively to navigate complexity, challenge established approaches and deliver results as one team.

Position salary range:
For this position, the expected base pay range is kr61,120.00- kr91,680.00 for the advertised location. The offered base salary will be determined within this range based on relevant skills, experience, and expected role fulfilment within the stated pay range to ensure a fair and competitive offer. Where applicable, you may also be eligible for variable payment and a comprehensive benefits package.
