Senior Process Engineer with Integrity Background

Join us in this role where you’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks around process engineering, technical safety, and integrity related tasks and play a key role in our Operation and Project Organisation. The tasks span from operational support to critical oil and gas facilities, modification and decommissioning projects, Integrity assessment to exploring business development opportunities. We operate in an international environment and create good stakeholder relationships internally and externally. In this position you must expect some domestic travelling and necessary training for the job will be provided.

 

Welcome to Infrastructure Assets
You’ll be part of Asset Integrity where you, together with your colleagues, will support the organisation with your safety and process engineering and integrity skills in the daily operation support and projects. You’ll also work on specific projects, including decommissioning and development initiatives. Your role will focus on technical safety, safety management systems, flow assurance, pipeline and process operations and integrity assessments, as well as risk handling related to oil and gas activities in specific projects or in specific projects or initiatives. You’ll play an important role in:

  • using your technical skills to ensure that our assets are operated, safeguarded and modified for safe and efficient transportation of oil, gas, and potentially other molecules
  • driving the initiatives and projects in your own technical area, mostly related to process engineering, technical safety, process simulation, pipeline flow and integrity
  • owning processes and operational procedures, as well as safety management systems
  • preparing technical input to our project portfolio to ensure progress on respective assignments
  • collaborate across functions to optimise operational integrity and efficiency, manage asset interfaces, investigate operational upsets, and analyse data
  • perform and support process hazard analysis activities, including risk assessments, HAZOP, and HAZID, as well as consequence and risk calculations to ensure compliance.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have key focus on safety, which shall be embedded in all the work you do also to identify potential hazards proactively
  • hold a degree in engineering or equivalent and have proven experience in process engineering in oil and gas, technology development or other related fields
  • possess knowledge in some of the following technical disciplines: flow assurance, thermodynamics, risk assessment, safety management systems, integrity assessment and corrosion mechanisms
  • are a team player who thrives on solving complex and abstract problems together with your colleagues and have a high focus on safety
  • possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and can work independently in your area of responsibility, mentor junior engineers and participate in a culture of knowledge sharing in an open, honest and trustful culture
  • speak and write English fluently and demonstrate excellent communication skills alongside with collaboration abilities enabling you to report and present project progress and results in an international environment. Danish skills are an advantage but not a requirement.
