Senior Product Owner

Join us in this role where you’ll support traders incorporating new products into the portfolio of traded products, ensuring a swift time-to-market. Your main focus will be on coordinating and communicating across the internal system landscape.

Welcome to Risk Management
As we transition to our newly established 1st line Risk Management function, our team is expanding to include responsibility for implementation of new energy products. You’ll join Risk Systems, a team of 10 talented developers looking forward welcoming you to the team.

We keep an informal tone and make sure to have common coffee breaks and fun during the day while still being professional. Each developer excels in IT and finance, delivering high-quality solutions using both skillsets and will be working closely with you on delivering the final part of the system implementation.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • guiding requesters towards legal approval of product ideas
  • clarifying and communicating product implementation priorities within Trading & Revenu
  • being the Product Owner for the dedicated ART team implementing new products in our ETRM system
  • facilitating a streamlined process with task overviews and timelines during implementation and testing to ensure swift time-to-market
  • coordinating efforts across teams to ensure smooth implementation without unnecessary delays
  • collaborating closely with testers, following the product through implementation.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • are structured, ideally with hands-on project management experience
  • take responsibility, act proactively, and move things forward
  • enjoy engaging with a broad range of stakeholders, including IT experts, traders, risk managers, and legal advisors
  • set clear expectations and push back if those aren’t fulfilled (e.g. a product isn’t mature enough to be picked up)
  • thrive in an informal and team-based atmosphere
  • collaborate across teams, functions, locations, and cultures, while also working well independently.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
