Senior Risk Manager

Join us in this role where you’ll you’ll contribute to building and strengthening our risk function by providing independent risk assessments, challenging first line decisions, and innovate and advance our newly developed risk model to ensure an accurate risk representation.

 

Welcome to Group Revenue Risk
You’ll be part of the Revenue Risk & Risk Models team within Group Revenue Risk where you, together with your colleagues, will play an important role in managing price  risks across all business areas in Ørsted, and ensure that our risk model accurately captures and calculates revenue risks for individual assets and on a portfolio level.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • contributing to the development of our second line risk calculation model
  • validating model outputs to ensure accurate risk calculations
  • challenging commercial decisions to ensure robust risk governance
  • providing independent risk assessments and analysis
  • high-quality reporting to senior management and Board of Directors
  • monitoring and controlling risk management processes to ensure compliance with limits and thresholds.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a strong financial or mathematical background with a master’s degree in finance, economics, or similar
  • have excellent IT skills as we work with large data volumes and use tools such as SQL, VBA/Excel and PowerPoint to a great extent
  • are experienced working with complex data and risk modelling
  • are motivated by stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration
  • are comfortable working in a dynamic and international environment.
