Senior Strategy Associate

Join us in this role where you’ll work directly with our senior management team on our overall strategy and key strategic projects across our portfolio. In Corporate Strategy, you’ll be part of a high-impact team, shaping the future of the most sustainable energy company in the world. This position offers a high degree of personal development across problem-solving, collaboration, project and stakeholder management.

Welcome to Corporate Strategy
You’ll be part of the Corporate Strategy team where you, together with your colleagues, will be supporting our CEO, CFO, CDO and other senior executives on various strategic topics, ranging from overall strategy development to industry perspectives and strategy execution. You’ll also be part of the wider Strategy, Innovation and In-House Consulting area which together helps define the overall strategic agenda for the organisation. Positioned centrally, the Corporate Strategy team engages with many stakeholders across the organisation, tasked with consolidating insights into holistic conclusions and recommendations.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • supporting and driving strategic projects for the Group Executive Team, leveraging problem solving, the development of top-down storylines, and insights which will lay the foundation for strategic decisions
  • gathering, researching, and analysing quantitative and qualitative data from across the organisation and external sources, translating this into clear insights
  • identifying challenges and opportunities for the organisation to scope and drive strategic projects
  • managing key stakeholders across the organisation to best drive projects forward with the necessary input and ensure alignment where needed
  • helping build and prepare internal and external presentations and decision materials for the Group Executive Team and the Board of Directors.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a personal drive and ambition to help solve the global climate challenge and key challenges facing the energy sector today
  • have experience in management consulting, or strategy and business development from major companies, preferably with experience in the energy space
  • have a high willingness to learn, a can-do mindset for challenging tasks, and a strong personal drive to get your tasks done
  • have strong analytical skills and an ability to distil key insights from a large amount of information
  • have a curious and collaborative mindset and strong ability to work with people across different disciplines.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
