Welcome to Europe Trading
You’ll be part of Revenue Desk where you, together with your colleagues, will generate value by trading in European power, carbon, and gas markets, while enabling the company to manage market risks effectively. You’ll collaborate closely across trading, analytics, quants, and development teams to analyse data, discuss market developments, and derive targeted strategies.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • delivering strong results from trading strategies across power, carbon, and gas markets
  • developing creative, effective trading strategies, and building expertise in new and growing markets
  • taking a hands-on role in developing, testing, and executing systematic trading strategies across new markets and systems
  • collaborating closely with algo developers to refine and expand automated trading capabilities
  • sharing knowledge proactively, supporting colleagues, and contributing to an international trading environment
  • continuously monitoring market events and translating insights into actionable trading decisions.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have proven trading experience within an allocated risk mandate, or equivalent experience
  • demonstrate strong risk management skills and the ability to take well‑reasoned positions
  • are able to quickly grasp new concepts, trading ideas, and systematic strategies
  • are diligent, hard‑working, and thrive in close cooperation with traders, analysts, quants, and developers
  • show outstanding numerical and analytical abilities
  • communicate openly, work collaboratively, and contribute to a supportive team culture.
