Senior or Lead Business Developer driving forward Ørsted's gas infrastructure business

Join us in this role where you’ll be part of the Infrastructure Assets organisation counting 80 colleagues. We own and operate pipeline infrastructure and terminals in Denmark that enables the safe, reliable, and economical transport and handling of molecules supporting a stable energy supply for Europe. In this role you’ll be an integral part of the team’s efforts to identify and drive initiatives supporting the long-term aspiration of Ørsted – Running a world that runs entirely on green energy. You’ll work with both external partners and regulators and you’ll work with both individual tasks as well as team-/project tasks.

Welcome to Infrastructure Assets
You’ll be part of the Commercial Team where you, together with your colleagues, will work closely with our legal department to ensure commercial robustness in collaboration agreements and be presenting recommendations directly to management. Furthermore, you’ll work closely with both operational teams and technical project managers to identify and drive forward business optimisations in our gas transportation business. The Commercial Team consists of 6 team members. As a team, we are driven by results and by continuously improving our business. We trust each other and support and empower our people to take ownership of projects and tasks.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • supporting and driving strategy and business development pipeline processes
  • driving forward business development initiatives to commercialisation
  • working in the regulatory environment to understand short- and long-term framework conditions and explore resulting business opportunities and risks.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a proven commercial and analytical mindset
  • preferably have 2-5 years experience in the energy sector (within molecules is an advantage)
  • have the interest and competences to prepare and process decisions
  • have proven communication skills through PowerPoint presentations
  • are fluent in Danish and English
  • hold a master’s degree in business, economics or engineering or equivalent

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
