Senior/Lead Tax Specialist (Transfer Pricing)

Join us in this role where you’ll ensure that we provide high-quality transfer pricing compliance work and document our intercompany dealings in a wide range of projects within offshore and onshore, solar energy and transmission of renewable energy around the world. We fulfil our team goals and objectives by supporting strong professional cooperation both within the team, the wider TAX team and the Ørsted business. You’ll be part of Transfer Pricing Operations where you, together with your colleagues, will work on complex transfer pricing matters on a variety of international projects whilst collaborating with the business. The team is part of the Tax function where team members are located in Denmark, Poland, the US, Germany, Taiwan, and the UK.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • preparing and reviewing contemporaneous transfer pricing documentation including conducting functional interviews with colleagues across the business
  • analysing business activities from a transfer pricing perspective to determine appropriate pricing and documentation
  • handling discussions and disputes with tax authorities and creating necessary input to respond to their enquiries helping them to understand our industry
  • conducting workshops/training sessions for colleagues to ensure awareness of transfer pricing requirements
  • collaborating closely with various departments, including finance, legal, and business units.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • hold a bachelor's or master’s degree in a relevant field such as Finance or Law
  • have substantial experience within transfer pricing, either from similar in-house positions, consulting firms, or tax authorities
  • are structured, perseverant, and take ownership of your tasks
  • possess an open mindset, are approachable, and passionate about your work
  • see complexity as an opportunity to use and expand your talent
  • speak and write English fluently.
